LAM Self-Assessment (New project)

RESULT: Success

OVERVIEW: As a part of the vendor approval process, LAM requests their prospective vendors go through a self-assessment process and give examples as to how they can and will improve.

ROLE: I was assigned as a test project manager to see where we could find a common thread throughout the project. What one thing could we do to make the greatest change and show great improvement?

CHALLENGES: Stakeholder micromanagement as one stakeholder wanted to make sure I was not going to struggle with the process. No matter what improvements I provided, they still were not satisfied with the outcome until an outcome was provided with clear instructions.

OUTCOMES: I presented the stakeholders with the documentation and gave them information as to where we could start to show the greatest improvement. I signed over the project and let the leadership team decide to do from there. The project is still on-going and will resolve on March 5th, 2024 (at the time of this writing).
